A Cincinnati television station is reporting a man is in custody charged with attacking the home of Vice President J.D. Vance overnight.
WLWT reported damage to windows at the home in the East Walnut Hills area of Cincinnati.
The Secret Service said Cincinnati Police took a man into custody after he was stopped by Secret Service agents. He has been arrested for causing property damage to a personal residence associated with Vance.
The incident happened shortly after midnight.
In a statement to The Associated Press, Anthony Guglielmi of the Secret Service said the suspect has not been named, and Vance nor his family were not in Ohio at the time of the incident.
