Francis Anthony Domino Sr., 83, of Midnight, Mississippi, went Home to be with the LORD on October 10, 2019.
He was born on June 16, 1936 to Sam and Annette Salemi Domino Jr. in the town of Midnight, Mississippi, where he was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Louise High School in 1955. He began farming with his father in 1965, and with his brothers founded Domino Farms from which he retired in 1999. Francis was a member of All Saints Catholic Church in Belzoni, Mississippi.
Francis married Carol Davis Domino on January 4, 1962. They shared 57 years of marriage. He loved nothing more than being surrounded by family especially his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. His favorite times were having a house full of family and friends, Francis greatest legacy is the family that he left behind. He was the primary caretaker of his beloved wife, Carol Davis Domino, over the last several years. Their love and devotion to each other was a beautiful example of Christian marriage and parenthood to their children.
He was preceded in death by parents, brothers, Samuel John Domino Sr., Charles Joseph Domino, Salvador Salemi Domino, sister, Grace Domino Davis and his son, David Allen Domino. He leaves behind his devoted family; Francis Anthony Domino Jr. (Deborah), James Gregory Domino (Shannon), Charles Michael Domino (Tammie) of Fulton, and Misty Domino Sartin (Jeremy) of Lake Cormorant. His brother Michael Joseph Domino of Midnight, Francis is also survived by the apples of his eyes, 14 grandchildren; Tony (Sarah Grace), Alex, Tyler, Landon, Leighton (JT), Braxton, Brea, Amery, Chase, Brittney (Hunter), Lane, Roston, Grady and Benjamin: 7 great grandchildren; Riley, Reece, John Lawson, Amelia, Fallon, Sophie Allen and Baylor. He also leaves a host of nieces and nephews and other extended family members.
Family and friends will celebrate his life at All Saints Catholic Church, Belzoni on Monday October 14, 2019. Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm followed by a funeral mass at 1 pm. Burial ceremony will take place at Greencrest Gardens, where Francis will be laid to rest with his son, David.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to All Saints Catholic Church.
