Marjorie C. Watson, 85, of Yazoo City passed away Monday January 4, 2020 at The Martha Coker Green House Homes. A Homemaker she was a member of First United Methodist Church where she served with The United Methodist Women, The Four Seasons Garden Club, Adult Fellowship Class, Hand Bell, and Church Choir.
Survivors include her son; Dr. Jim Ed (Marla) Watson of Jackson, daughters; Lynn Watson (Ronald) Stafford of Greenwood, Leigh Watson (Webb) Lampley of Vaughan, and Clark Watson (late Truett) Duncan of Benton, and by her grandchildren; Wendy (Sam) Mars, Laura Lee (Steven) Gregg, Courtney (Jason) Nochols, Ashleigh (Ryan) Barnes, Whitney Lampley, Alex (Meagan) Lampley, Jennifer (Jonathan) Holloway, Claire (Sammy) Burnham, Haleigh (Craig Howard) Kirkland, Sydney (Daniel) Kennedy, Ann Reagan Watson, and Lilla Clark Watson, along with 18 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Epps Watson, grandson; Keith Richard McCoy, parents; Robert E.and Frances Connell, Sr. and a brother; Robert Connell, Jr.
Graveside services under the direction of Stricklin King Funeral Home will be Friday January 8th at 2:00 P.M. in Black Jack Cemetery. Rev Lauren Porter will officiate.
