Lori Farmer Bussey, 67, of Belzoni, passed away suddenly, Friday, October 23, 2020. at her home. Lori was born on September 8, 1953, in Indianola Mississippi, to A.G. and Joyce Tatum Farmer. She spent 30 plus years as a teacher in Sunflower and Humphreys counties. Lori continued to work as an office manager for Donahoo Heating and Cooling after retiring from the public school system. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. Lori is preceded in death by her parents, A.G. and Joyce Farmer, her husband, Samuel H. "Buddy" Bussey, and her son, John Colby Donahoo. She leaves behind ,with their loving memories of her, son, Shea Donahoo (Kathryn) of Belzoni, stepson, Buddy Bussey of Greenville, stepdaughters, Traci Whittington (Daryle) of Vicksburg and Taylor Egge (Caleb) of Senatobia, brother, Gary Farmer (Annette) of Belzoni, grandchildren, Karley Whittington, Kolby and John Michael Donahoo, Addy and Harrison Egge, and numerous beloved family members and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26, 2020 from 1 to 2 PM at Eastside Baptist Church, Belzoni, with funeral service immediately following. Graveside service will be held at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Inverness. In lieu of flowers, memories may be made to Humphreys Academy or Eastside Baptist Church.
