James Kenneth "Ken" Singleton, age 78, of Yazoo City, MS passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2020. He was born on August 18, 1941 to Ruby Adams Singleton and Dewitt Singleton. He is proceeded in death by both of his parents, step father; Robert Moore, sibling; Henry Singleton and one son, James Dewitt Singleton (Little Jimmie). For many years he was a local business owner and also an engineer at the Mississippi Highway Department. Ken, as he was affectionately referred to by many friends and family was an outgoing and spirited individual who lived his life to the fullest. Ken is survived by his wife Carolyn J. Singleton. Ken's spirit lives on through his two grown children; Tim (Meka) Singleton and Rana Singleton Hood, 7 grandchildren: Kelsey, Taylor, Rhett, Jacy, Mayghan, Reece, and Dylan, two great-grandchildren; Zayden and Brooklyn, and two sisters; Jeannie Parker and Kat Montgomery.
A Memorial service will be held at a later date. The family wishes to thank each and everyone for their prayers, calls, visits and other acts of kindness.
