Aubrey Johnston. 78, of Benton passed away Saturday September 4, 2021 at his residence. A Building Contractor, he was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and was a Veteran of The U. S. Army. Survivors include his wife; Paula Busby Johnston, son; Joseph (Sandy) Johnston, Jr. of Batesville, daughter; Phyllis (Mike) Parks of Brandon, grandchildren; Kayla (Jonathan) Rineheart, Michael Armstrong, Samantha (Ron) Haggard, William (Abi) Johnston, great grandchildren; Carson Rineheart, Jaxon Rineheart, Frankie Haggard, Harrison Haggard, Elizabeth Haggard, and Bailey Johnston, and a sister; Linda Wright of Benton.3 Aubrey was preceded in death by his parents; William Henry & Myra Dale Jones Johnston, brothers; William, Herbert, Milton and Jean Johnston, sisters Katherine Dunson & Mildred Ward, and a son-in-law; Shannon Irby. Visitation & Services will be Tuesday September 7th at Bethlehem Baptist Church with visitation starting at 9:00 A.M. until the services at 12:00 P.M. under the direction of Stricklin King Funeral Home, internment will follow in the Bull Cemetery on Highway 16E. Rev. Witt Holmes and Rev. Bryan Able, Rev. James Pettis Rev. Richard Jennings will officiate. Serving as pallbearers are; Michael Armstrong, William Johnston, Jonathan Rineheart, Justin Todd, Tim Rineheart and Mike Parks. Serving as honorary pall bearers are Kayla Rineheart, Samantha Haggard, Carson Rineheart. Jaxon Rineheart, Frankie Haggard, Dakota Todd, and Drake Todd. In Lieu of Flowers, Memorial may be made to; Operation Christmas Child Bethlehem Baptist Church.
