The Mooreville Troopers defeated the Humphreys County Cowboys Friday Night in the second round of the MHSAA 3-A playoffs. Humphreys County held a 20 to 6 Halftime lead, but it was all Troopers in the second half. Mooreville would put 21 unanswered points on the board winning the game 27-20.
The loss ends the Cowboys season. Moorville will play Amanda Elzy next week in Round 3.
Amanda Elzy defeated Choctaw County Friday Night 38 to 32.
