Stay weather aware tomorrow with all types of severe weather possible including Tornadoes damaging winds hail and flash flooding. Have a plan in place and make sure you have more than one way to receive weather notifications. Severe thunderstorms are expected on Thursday. Tornadoes, damaging wind gusts, and hail will be possible – especially across portions of northeast Louisiana and much of central and southern Mississippi. Stay tuned for updates as this weather event approaches. On Thursday, thunderstorms capable of producing 1 to 3 inches of rainfall over short periods of time will cause localized flash flooding, especially in areas that have recently received heavy rain. High clouds will filter the sun today. It will be warm again, with highs ranging from the upper 70s to lower 80s. Showers and thunderstorms will begin to move into the Delta overnight. Mostly cloudy conditions are expected with lows in the 60s.
