A statewide tornado drill will be conducted at 9:15 am on Wednesday, October 23,2019. Everyone is encouraged to participate in this drill…hospitals, businesses, schools, and residents. So where ever you are at 9:15 am on October 23rd, figure out where your safe place will be. The point of this drill is we all grow up practicing tornado safety at school, but when you graduate and become adults, we don’t have the annual practice drills anymore. We don’t think about these things until they’re happening and a tornado is baring down on us. When the tornado warning has been issued over our location, at that point it’s too late.
