FROM NWS: There is a MARGINAL RISK FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS TONIGHT 
in the Power107/WELZ listening area. This includes: Bolivar- Sunflower-
Leflore-Grenada-Carroll-Montgomery-Webster-Clay-Lowndes- Choctaw-
Oktibbeha-Washington-Humphreys-Holmes-Attala-Winston- Noxubee-
Issaquena-Sharkey-Yazoo-Warren-
Ashley-Chicot-Morehouse-West Carroll-East Carroll-Richland-
Madison LA-Franklin LA-Catahoula-Tensas-Concordia-

Tonight, isolated severe thunderstorms are possible. Some
thunderstorms could produce damaging wind gusts and hail up to
quarter size. A tornado cannot be ruled out.
 
Thursday through early Thursday evening, across the entire area.
Tornadoes are likely, with some strong and long-track. Damaging
wind gusts up to 80mph and large hail greater than golf ball size
are likely. The highest potential is east of the Mississippi
River and along and north of Interstate 20, with some threat
lingering into southeast Arkansas, northeast Louisiana and south-
central Mississippi. The highest threat of strong and long-track
tornadoes will be in central-northeast Mississippi, mainly
Thursday afternoon.

Additional rainfall will result in areas of flash flooding likely
across portions of the area.


Sustained winds of 20 to 25 mph are possible, especially in the
Delta, and wind gusts of 30 to 40 mph possible at
times, for the entire area mainly mid-morning through
early evening Thursday.

Isolated severe thunderstorms are possible for portions of
extreme southeast Arkansas, portions of central Mississippi, and
all of north central Mississippi on Friday night.

.SPOTTER CALL TO ACTION STATEMENT...
The activation of storm spotters, HAM radio operators, and
emergency management personnel in support of severe weather
operations may be needed for portions of the region Friday
night and tonight through Thursday night.
