Ole Miss fought their way to a 17-7 victory over Mississippi State in a tough Egg Bowl on Thanksgiving night. Only 3-points were scored in the game at half-time. Mississippi State would take a 3rd quarter lead with a touchdown. The Rebels would put up two unanswered scores to win the game 17-7.
Now Ole Miss with their second 10-win season under Coach Lane Kiffin, will wait to see what bowl game they will be playing in. This will be the fourth straight bowl appearance by the Rebels under Coach Kiffin since 2020.
The loss may eliminate Mississippi State from relieving a bowl bid this year.
