Memorial services for Bonnie Joy Holland Turner, 74, retired bookkeeper, of Greenville, Mississippi will be Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Mortimer Funeral Home. Rev. Charles Runnels will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 11:00 AM. She died on Thursday, December 7, 2023, at Baptist Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi.
Bonnie was born November 24th, 1949 in Drew, MS. She grew up and attended school in Maben, MS; and she moved to Greenville in 1974. She was most happy with family; loved cooking and preparing for family gatherings, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. She enjoyed playing Poker at the Elks Lodge and Bocce at the Italian Club with her friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Curtis Holland and Elsie Fisher Holland; one son, Rusty Turner; and two brothers, Curtis and Larry Holland.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Gerald Turner; “Fur Baby”, Hannah Jade; sister-in-law, Mae Holland of Greenville; grandson, Nolan Turner; daughter-in-law, Kim Turner; beloved cousin, Kim Trott, niece, Selina Tarver; nephews, John Holland, and David Holland; great nieces and nephews, Matt (Brandy) Tarver, Kelsie Holland, Lauren (Ronnie) Ashmore, and Raven Tarver; great-great nieces and nephews, Gracie Tarver, Brayden Ashmore, Sawyer Ashmore, and Koleson Moon.
