LONG TIME LOUISE BUSINESS DESTROYED BY FIRE

SHARE NOW

The Lee Hong Grocery, in Louise, Mississippi, commonly known as Hoover’s went up in flames on Sunday January 14th, 2024. A couple good Samaritans passing by saw the smoke and flames, and jumped into action. They forced entry into the store and pulled the owner Stan Lee and his mother Freeda to safety. Stan was transported to UMMC and is being treated for smoke inhalation. Unfortunately, one of the family members did not survive the fire, Stan’s younger brother Tim Lee was trapped and passed away in the fire. Fire units from Louise, Belzoni, Holly Bluff, and Yazoo County, responded to the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The Lee’s church Louise United Methodist Church has set up a fundraiser to help the family out. The family’s residence was a part of the store and was also destroyed in the fire. They have lost everything. If you wish to donate checks can be made to Louise UMC P.O. Box 275 Louise, MS 39097. Note: Lee Family on your check. All monies will be forwarded to the Lee Family. There has also been a go fund me account set-up.
Most of all, keep this family in your prayers!

I pray for the Lee family and God bless them that they will some how recover in Jesus name. Praying for them in the loss of their love one. May they look to be hills from which all our help comes from. ????????????????????????
