Light up Yazoo Christmas Decorating Contest is now FREE to all to participate whether you are a Chamber Member or not—we want you to participate!
All you have to do is call to register you home, business, church, etc. Call the Yazoo County Chamber of Commerce at

NO REGISTRATION FEE—IT’S COMPLELY FREE FOR ALL!
First Place – $500, a gift basket & a certificate
One First Place winner (can be a home, business or church)
Two Second Place winners – $200, a gift basket & a certificate
(One for Business/Church & one for Yard/Window)
Two Third Place winners – $100, a gift basket & a certificate
(One for Business/Church & one for Yard/Window)
CONTEST TOTALS $1,100
Judging will be based on “curb appeal” as viewed from the street only.
Judging criteria will include (a) unique design and creative use of lights and decorations; (b) Story line or theme; (c) Display & placement of decorations, animated objects, etc. and (d) Overall presentation.
Judging will be December 13th, 14th & 15th.
