U.S. Air Force National Guard Airman Renee D. Walker graduated from basic military training at Join Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. The airman completed an intensive, eight week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force. Renee is the daughter of Carl D. and Pam D. Hibbard and of Matthew T. Walker, all of Yazoo City, MS. She is a 2007 graduate of Yazoo County High School. She earned an associate degree in 2009 from Hinds Community College, Raymond, MS.
