The Yazoo County Fair Grounds was the place to be Saturday to celebrate Yazoo City’s own Home Town Hero Fletcher Cox. The celebration began with a parade and ended at the Fairgrounds where Fletcher visited and signed autographs. The Main Stage speakers included Rockey Felker, MSU Quarterback, Coach & Recruiter representing Mississippi State and Tony Woolfolk, who coached Fletcher Cox at Yazoo City High School. Mayor, Diane Delaware announced that River Road in Yazoo City will be changed to Fletcher Cox Road and two markers will be placed at the entrances to Yazoo City.
