Bentonia Fire/Rescue personnel were dispatched to an accident involving a collision between a car and motorcycle Friday morning (7-19-2019) at the intersection of Highway 49 and Old Highway 49. The driver of the car suffered only a minor injury and miraculously the the driver of the motorcycle walked away from the wreck with no reported injuries. A unit from Pafford EMS responded to the scene but no one was transported to the hospital. There were no other injuries in the accident. The cause of the wreck is being investigated by the Bentonia Police Department.
