 West central Yazoo County in central Mississippi...
 North central Warren County in west central Mississippi...
 Central Issaquena County in west central Mississippi...
 Southeastern Sharkey County in west central Mississippi...
* Until 345 PM CDT Monday.
* Emergency management has reported ongoing flooding in these areas
  due to rising backwater from the closure of the Steele Bayou gates
  and excessive rainfall runoff from areas upstream.
* The gage at Steele Bayou is currently at 95.5 feet and is expected
  to reach 97 feet within the next week. The extent of the current
  flood waters is expected to increase in area over the weekend and
  through next week. This flood warning will likely be updated
  several times.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Valley Park, Fitler, Onward, Holly Bluff and Satartia.
* Major thoroughfares such as Highway 61 North and South remain
  open, but several smaller county roadways are closed due to this
  flooding.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
 Turn around, don`t drown when encountering 
flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause 
flooding of small creeks and streams, country roads, 
farmland, and other low lying spots.
