* Flash Flood Watch for portions of central Mississippi, east
central Mississippi, southwest Mississippi and west central
Mississippi, including the following areas in central
Mississippi, Attala, Copiah, Hinds, Holmes, Leake, Madison MS,
Rankin, Scott, Simpson, Smith and Yazoo. In east central
Mississippi, Kemper, Neshoba, Newton, Noxubee and Winston. In
southwest Mississippi, Claiborne. In west central Mississippi,
Warren.
* From Tuesday morning through late Tuesday night
* Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches with locally higher amounts
in a short amount of time is likely.
* Ongoing river flooding may be worsened.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
