Friday, June 22, 2018 at 1:30 am, Yazoo County Central Dispatch received a call of a shooting in the 800 block of Prentiss Avenue. On arrival of First Responders, 19 year old Tandre Weekly was found in the street. Initially the victim had a pulse and was moved into an ambulance where a paramedic began to work on him, very shortly after placing him in the ambulance the victim was pronounced dead. According to Ricky Shivers, Yazoo County Coroner, Mr. Weekly died as a result of a single gun shot wound. His body was transported to the Mississippi Medical Examiner’s office in Pearl for an autopsy.
