An accident on Highway 16 East 2 miles West of Fugates Road claimed the life of 31 year old Jeremy Daniel Woods of Yazoo City last night. According to Yazoo County Coroner, Ricky Shivers the victim was pronounced dead on the scene by paramedics with Pafford EMS. The accident is under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol.
